Week 1 Working Together:

  • Have a look at the Whetoki on Slide/Page 2
  • ​Take a look at Slide 4 -6 to see the reasons why Pedagogical Practice is important to get right when working in a Deep Learning Classroom.
  • Slides 7-11 has an Example of Riccarton High School using Character (we will investigate this more as a school in Term 2). Goto Can Do/Added extra
  • Slides 15, 16 show examples you can use in your classroom
  • Slide 18 shows if you are missing a piece in the process what it could look like in your classroom.
  • Take a look at the second video from 2021 starting at 25.30 until 27.10 - Have a think about which Pedagogies you have tried and worked in class and those that have been a miss. "For me and my opinion: Standing at the front of class does not meet Deep Learning if it is done all the time and only learning. I enjoy small groups, discussions, student full engagement into what they want to learn. I want them to be the experts and want to learn."
