Students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of winter sports, from traditional choices like Netball and Basketball, to activities such as Cross country and Snow sports. Our top netball and basketball players will have the opportunity to represent the school at South Island Tournaments. Trials for winter sports typically take place in late February or early March.
During the summer terms, students can enjoy a wide selection of sports, including popular options like Athletics and Swimming. They may also explore less traditional summer sports, such as Dragon boating and Multi-Sport. Trials for summer sports are held in the first few weeks of Term 1.
Year-round, students have the chance to try sports like Equestrian as well as participate in sports focused Clubs, Combined Country High Schools competitions, CASAfest, NZ Area Schools Tournament and Koru Games.
All sports are played across a variety of days and times, and these will be determined by the team that your child plays for. For further information about our extensive sporting opportunities, please refer to the Sport Handbook.
